On March 1, 2025, the 15-day 'Hope for Today' evangelistic campaign in Suleja, Niger State-Nigeria, reached its grand conclusion. This historic event marked the first major outreach within the local church’s own community, breaking through barriers of fear and extremism to usher in a new era of hope and spiritual freedom.

A Joyful Harvest
The highlight of the campaign was the baptismal service at Suleja Dam, where husbands and wives, mothers and sons publicly declared their faith. The atmosphere was filled with rejoicing as 26 precious souls were added to the church, reviving and strengthening the congregation for greater mission work.

A New Generation of Hope
As the sunset cast a golden glow over Suleja, a group of young people stood eagerly, awaiting their turn to be baptized, Pastor Nathan Odonkor-The WAD Associate Secretary, the guest preacher declared, “Today, you take a significant step in your journey with Jesus, committing your lives to Him and joining a global community preparing for His return.”
With conviction and joy, the young people affirmed their faith, and Pastor Solomon the Suleja Church Pastor baptized them, symbolizing their burial with Christ and resurrection to a new life. The crowd erupted in celebration as these new believers emerged beaming with joy, their hearts set on sharing their newfound faith with others.
This baptism was more than just a ceremony—it was a powerful testament to the transformative power of the Adventist message, bringing revival across generations and securing a brighter future for the Adventist Church.
To God be the glory! The harvest is plentiful, and the mission continues!
