VISIT OF THE MINISTRY OF STATE, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, OF AFRICAN INTEGRATION AND THE DIASPORA (MEMAE) OF CÔTE D'IVOIRE.


The Directorate of International Organisations paid a working visit to the headquarters of the West-Central Africa Division (WAD) in Abidjan on Thursday May 11, 2023 at 10:00 am.
The departmental directors of Education, Health as well as the Special Adviser to the Division's Administration took part in the very rich and friendly exchanges. The Director of ADRA Division and the Director of Public Relations coordinated the meeting.

In his remarks during the working session, Mr. N'Djomon Marcellin, Deputy Director of International NGOs said: "We came as partners and not as policemen to reiterate the desire to continue the cooperation dynamics.”
On this occasion, an invitation was extended to Her Excellency Mrs. Kandia KAMISSOKO CAMARA, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Diaspora to take part in the 9th International Religious Liberty Association World Congress in Washington D.C. in the United States of America from August 21 to 23, 2023.
After a prayer in favour of the country's authorities, the delegation visited the office of the WAD President, Prof. Robert Osei-Bonsu. The man of God thanked the government of Côte d'Ivoire for the support and prayed for the hosts of the day. The same emphasis was given while visiting the office of the Executive Secretary, Dr Sessou Selom.

The delegation left very satisfied but also eager to see the achievements of the Adventist Church in other places being replicated in Côte d’Ivoire. Indeed, WAD plans to create a reference hospital in Abidjan, a bilingual university and the creation of a TV Channel and a radio station. The Ministry has promised to support WAD in the various projects.
